BROMSGROVE Blades under-11s sealed victory in a nine-goal thriller as Curtis Smith bagged the decisive goal when they saw off Crusaders 5-4.

Catshill under-10s progressed to the semi-finals of the Stourport League Cup with a gutsy 4-1 victory at Droitwich Spa Jaguars on Saturday.

Goals for Louis Barnes, Daniel Ashton, Tyler Eley and James Gardner cancelled out Joe Green’s own goal.

On Sunday, Catshill came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at Sheldon Royals, with Kai Holbrook and Liam Jones netting.

Catshill under-13s suffered a disappointing 4-1 defeat away at Beacon Colts in Division One of the Central Warwickshire League.

Lucy Shaw bagged a hat-trick as Meadow Park under-15 Girls defeated Gornal West beat 6-5.

Santiago Colts Northfield side beat West Hagley under-14s 9-2 in the Central Warwickshire League, with the help of braces from Usamah Abdo, Callum Keeley and Simeon Ellis.

The under-15s defeated Astwood Colts 3-2, while Santiago Colts Emeralds edged out Lyndon Colts 1-0.

Santiago Girls under-13s saw off Kewford 7-3 in the Stourbridge League Cup, with player-of-the-match Tyer Green netting four.

Droitwich Tigers under-11s defeated Shipston Excelsior 5-1 in the Ambassador League, with Jack Ward (2), Dan Hanson, Alistair Pinfield and Matthew Stratford scoring as they went top of the table.

The Scorpions won 1-0 against Alcester Town Colts.
