Bears banish their Demons

Bromsgrove Bears have made a solid start to 2012.
In the National League, the under-16s claimed victory at Wiltshire Demons by 35 points.
They then made the trip to Bucks Hornets but despite taking the lead, they lost their points advantage in the fourth quarter after the home side rallied.
The women’s team maintained their unbeaten record in the local league with two wins over Big Sky Ladies and Birmingham Force at the Ryland Centre.
The under-14s enjoyed a big win over Gloster Jets in the Central Venue League before claiming a one-point over-time success against Shropshire Warriors.
There will be National League action at South Bromsgrove High School on Saturday, when the under-16s tackle Wiltshire Demons and the women entertain Worcester Wolves (4pm tip-off) The club also boast new sponsors, The Grapevine pub, who will provide kits and food for after National League games.
