DAVID Gwynn put in a man-of-the-martch performance for Catshill under-nines as they edged out Arden Forest 2-1 with an Ellis Lowe strike and an own goal afetr some good work from Cassius Clapham.
The under-10s’ fell to a 1-0 home defeat to Warndon Village Panthers before a goalless draw at Solihull Juniors Maroon on Sunday.
Bromsgrove Blades under-11s lost 3-2 to Northfield Warriors despite Dylan Wilcock’s brace. Jack Stanton was man of the match.
Santiago Colts under-14s reached the semi-finals of the Open Cup by beating Boldmere Falcons 3-2, with Simeon Ellis, Liam Baxter and Montana Thomas on target. Usamah Abdo was man of the match.The under-15s saw off Alvechurch 9-2 with the help of a Astley Rana hat-trick.In the under-nines, Santiago Colts Allstars stay top-of-the-table by seeing off Inter Volante 6-0 with Joe Wathen netting three.Santiago Colts Rednal under 14s eased to a 3-0 win over CCC with the help of a brace from man-of-the match Georgie Burke.The Emerald under-10s saw off Inter Volante 3-1, while the Knights team defeated Sporting FC 2-0.Louise O’Connell and Tyler Green scored as Santiago Colts Girls edged out Kinver Colts 2-1.Santiago Colts under-13s saw off Headless 2-1 as Morgan Trevis and Callum Turner scored, while Connor Kelly fired the unde-11s to a 1-0 win over CCC. Santiago Colts Lickey lost 3-2 to Chelmsley Town Youth under-14s, Bradley Stevens and Hadley Broom got the goals.The under-11s lost 3-1 to Sporting FC, despite Lucy Taylor’s goal while Santiago Rubery Village lost 3-0 to Laburnum.Santiago Colts Shamrocks under-10s lost 4-0 to Knowle, while Santiago Colts under-12s went down 7-0 to Blossomfield Athletic.
