Woman honoured for Girl Guides service

A KIND Spa woman has been honoured by the town’s rotary club for her work as a troop leader for the Girl Guides in Droitwich.
Alice Parker has been given a Good Citizen award by The Rotary Club of Droitwich Spa in recognition of her service, which came to the attention of the group when she gave a talk to rotary members.
She was given the award by the Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Michael Barratt, at a tea party in Rotary House, Corbett Avenue, at on Tuesday, February 7. She has helped with the Girl Guides for 20 years and will now be helping to start a new Rainbow group for Brownies.
