Residents can report problems to council online
2:57pm Thursday 2nd September 2010
RESIDENTS can now report problems to Wychavon District Council online.
The authority is running a campaign to increase the amount of residents reporting problems to them.
The underused ‘report it’ feature on the www.wychavon.gov.uk website can be used to report missed bins, fly tipping, noise complaints and many other issues.
Kath Smith, customer services manager, said: “There is so much on our website sometimes it might be a little overwhelming for our customers or they simply don’t know what they can do online. Getting more people to use the website would be a big step forward for us. At the moment we have 25,000 hits on our website each month, but we need more people to know how easy it is to report issues online 24-7.”
The ‘report it’ feature of the website will be on the front page of www.wychavon.gov.uk for the next two weeks to raise the profile of the services provided.
